Natural materials

Each textile begins with a delicate dance of art and chemistry, drawing out natural dyes. Color is extracted from plants and insects to create paintable dyes or baths for immersion dyeing. Dyes are then applied to natural fibers, like silk and linen.

Handcrafted

Each textile is dyed by hand using one or more methods including hand painting, printing, flower pressing, and shibori techniques. The hand craftsmanship of the application processes results in each piece having a unique pattern or design.
